Larchmere is an independently owned Nursing Home that caters for 33 residents in a comfortable and homely environment.

We have a range of room options including single, single ensuite and a small selection of double rooms. All rooms have their own washing facilities, commode and nurse call bell. Your room is treated as your home while you are staying with us and you are welcome to choose your decoration and to bring in any favorite items of furniture, pictures or personal belongings that will fit in the room. Our maintenance man will consult with you on admission and adapt your environment accordingly to make it your own. Some of our rooms have television and radios, however all rooms have a television aerial and you are welcome to bring your own television in. There is internet access in most areas of the home and a telephone can be installed in any of our rooms.

All of our rooms are refurbished and decorated on a rolling program and are furnished with comfort in mind. All rooms are also centrally heated with thermostatically controlled radiators.

How and where our residents spend their day is up to them and they have the choice of their room or a communal area. There is a small sun lounge, dining room, main lounge and various garden areas including our courtyard garden and pretty back garden which faces our local park and has flowering shrubs throughout the summer months. Our visitors are welcome to visit at any time of day and are actively encouraged to participate in social activities and pursuits both inside and outside the home.
